Back on the Ambulance: Recovery from Total Knee Replacement

“At 66 years old, I was preparing for a total left knee replacement following an injury and wanted to be in the best possible condition before my operation. Working on frontline ambulances, I knew that regaining my mobility and strength afterwards would be essential if I wanted to return to the job I love.

From my first appointment, Triniti ensured I was listened to and felt validated with my concerns. She provided a clear and concise plan to help me prepare for surgery. The treatments and advice I received helped improve my confidence, mobility, and overall fitness going into the procedure. I felt supported every step of the way and appreciated how everything was explained in terms I could easily understand.

Following my knee replacement, the rehabilitation programme was tailored to my recovery goals and progressed at a pace that challenged me while remaining realistic. The regular assessments, hands-on care, and prescribed exercises helped me steadily regain strength, movement, and function.

What impressed me most was the genuine interest the Triniti took in my recovery. She understood the physical demands of my role and worked with me to achieve the level of fitness needed to return to frontline ambulance work safely and confidently.

Today, I am back working on the ambulances and doing things that I was struggling with before surgery. I am incredibly grateful for the professional care, encouragement, and expertise I received throughout my journey. I would highly recommend the clinic to anyone preparing for surgery or looking for support during their rehabilitation.”
