At Southampton Chiropractic Clinic, we understand that schedules can change and unexpected situations can arise. Our aim is always to be as accommodating as possible while ensuring that appointments remain available for patients who need care.
Each appointment time is reserved specifically for you. When appointments are cancelled at short notice or missed, it is often not possible for us to offer that time to another patient who may be waiting for treatment. To help us manage our schedule fairly and continue providing timely care to all patients, we operate the following cancellation policy.
While we appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can occur, these fees apply to all late cancellations and missed appointments to ensure fairness to all patients and to allow us to manage appointment availability effectively.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time will not incur any fee. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours, missed appointments, or failure to attend without notice will incur a 100% charge of the appointment fee. We may also require a deposit for future bookings.
If you arrive significantly late (more than 15 minutes), we may not be able to provide the full appointment time. In some cases, the appointment may need to be shortened or treated as a late cancellation.
If a cancellation or no-show fee is not paid, we reserve the right to refuse future bookings until the outstanding balance is settled.
Reminders are sent as a courtesy, 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. However, it remains the patient’s responsibility to attend their appointment or cancel within the required notice period.
By booking an appointment with Southampton Chiropractic Clinic, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact the clinic as early as possible so that the appointment time may be offered to another patient.
