Hi friends,

I am so grateful to have you here! To start us off, I wanted to share about myself and why I started my career…

This long journey all started when I was 8-years-old. My sister had recently been diagnosed with progressive adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and was advised to undergo an invasive surgery, taking 12 hours to complete. After many disheartening experiences trying to get the support she needed, following this life-altering procedure, my mum decided to go to university, to learn how to help my sister.

I was around 15-years-old when my mum started her degree and I was first exposed to the world of chiropractic. Like most teenagers, I thought the idea of following in a parent’s footsteps was not very “cool”, so when it was encouraged by others, I was pretty quick to shut it down. But, as I learnt more about what the career actually entailed, the skills I could develop, and how I could genuinely help people, I decided it was for me.

Fast forward through two Master’s of Chiropractic (MChiro) degrees and lots of hard work, we decided that it was time for us to take the leap and open our very own clinic – to create a safe space where people feel supported, empowered, and valued.

And here we are… two weeks until we officially open Southampton Chiropractic Clinic!

Moving forward, you can look forward to a new blog post every first Wednesday of the month. Each post will give you a behind-the-scenes look at life at our clinic, share the latest updates, and offer personal insights from me, the founder of SCC. I’m excited to share our journey, keep you informed, and offer valuable tips to support your health and wellness.

Thank you for reading!
